Obituary of Robert Paul Ziebart

Plankinton – Robert Paul Ziebart, 59, went to his heavenly home Monday, May 17 at his home near Plankinton. Visitation will be Friday, June 18 from 6 to 8 pm at Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Stickney.

Robert was born April 30, 1962 to Robert and Geraldine (Hughes) Ziebart in Mitchell, SD. He grew up on the farm near Stickney and attended Stickney High School, graduating in 1980. After graduation, he stayed on the farm and helped his parents. Eventually, Robert took over the farming operation. He had a lifelong commitment to farming and raising cattle and loved his John Deere equipment.

Grateful for having shared his life are his 3 siblings: Jodi (Jerry) Schladweiler of Mitchell, SD; Scott Ziebart of Mitchell; and Danny Ziebart of Madison, SD; 7 nieces and nephews: Jamie, Jeremy and Jessica Schladweiler and Tate (Kelsey), Ty, Tristan and Taryn Ziebart; and a sister-in-law, Tami Ziebart of Woonsocket, SD.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Geraldine and a brother, Tracy.
