I have many great memories of Mrs. Jongsma as she was my teacher at the Beukelman school for all 8 years of my grade school. I am still amazed at how she could teach all 8 grades. She was strict, but fair and kind. I went on to college and earned my Masters degree in Social Work. I give her a great deal of credit for this as she gave us a solid foundation to build upon. I still talk about this to colleagues, clients, and friends as it is a huge part of who I am today. Thank you for being a special and influential person in my life. I will always cherish those memories. May you rest in peace.
