Obituary of Robert Charles Permann

  Lake Andes - Robert Permann, 65, died in North Platte, NE on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. Funeral service will be Monday, November 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM with visitation starting at 1:00 PM at Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Lake Andes, SD. Burial will be at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis at a later date.

   Robert Permann was born on December 21, 1952 to Gideon and Betty (Cole) Permann in Pickstown, SD. He attended Tyndall High School in Tyndall, SD. After high school he enter the U.S. Navy on August 13, 1971 and was discharged on August 12, 1975. Robert worked as a Millwright at various power plant outage sites, for D.L. Jones Construction in Fargo, ND, Wanzek Construction in Fargo, ND, and Newport News Industrial where he worked at Cook Nuclear Power Plant in Bridgman, MI. He enjoyed rebuilding cars and property maintenance. Robert will be remembered for being kind and generous. He cared for his daughter and grandsons, who will miss him dearly along with other relatives and friend. He died on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 in North Platte, NE at the age of 66.

   He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Lunder of Arizona City, AR, 3 grandchildren, Malaki Sudbeck of Arizona City, AR, Mason Sudbeck of Arizona City, AR, and Marshall Sudbeck of Eloy, AR, 2 sisters, Sheila (Roger) Hisek of Tyndall, SD and Sandy (Babe) McCabe of Sioux Falls, SD and sister-in-law, Noreen Strid of Lake Andes, SD.

   He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Susan.
