   Armour - Ronald "Ron" Verzani, 77, died at Good Samaritan Society - Luther Manor in Siuox Falls on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. Funeral service will be Monday, July 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Armour with burial following in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Armour.

   Ronald "Ron" L. Verzani was born on November 1, 1940 to Joseph "Fred" and Alice (Berndt) Verzani in Wagner, SD. He attended country school, graduated from Delmont High School in 1958, and attended South State College in Springfield, SD. He married Norma Bietz on July 6, 1959. They moved to Pickstown, SD, Omaha, NE, then to Armour, SD where he worked as a mechanic. They moved to Rapid City where he worked as a firemen on Ellsworth Air Force Base and started his own construction business. He moved to North Dakota and Michigan, then moved to Lyle, MN where he worked at the McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing and hauled fertilizer. He enjoyed spending time at his camper near Platte, SD, hunting and fishing. He died on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Good Samaritan Society - Luther Manor in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 77.

   He is survived by his son, Dean Verzani of Platte, SD, daughter, Linda Verzani of Rapid City, SD, and 5 brothers and sisters, Kay (Ben) Folden of Mitchell, SD, Mary Grosz of Vail, AZ, Duane (Mary) Verzani of Mitchell, SD, Carol (John) Ceaman of Rose Creek, MN, and Jody Verzani of Austin, MN.

   He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons, Michael and Robert, brother, Jerry Verzani, and sister, Jean Ann Verzani.
